The Malt House

Farmhouse. C17 with some late C19 alterations. Timber-frame with brick infill and rendered infill and coursed rubble gable ends, slate and tile roof. U-plan with four-bay front range, rear wings of rubble to south. West half house, south half agricultural. North front: one storey with attic to left lit by gabled dormer. Three single-light casements, with entrance to right of centre. It has a gabled wooden canopy and a ledged and boarded door. Framing: three square panels high.
