SO 47 SW ADFORTON CP GRANGE

north-west of
The Grange

Barn. Probably C17 to C18 with later alterations. Sandstone rubble cill,
timber-frame with woven infill and weatherboards. Corrugated iron roof.
Six bays aligned north-north-west/south-south-east. East elevation is
weatherboarded except for top rows of exposed panels with woven infill.
Two full-height entries each one bay in from ends. Interior has king-
posts and angle struts from ties. Frame is four square panels high from
cill to wall-plate. Included for group value.
