SO 37 SE BRAMPTON BRYAN CP THE GREEN

Three cottages, now two. Probably late C17 to early C18 with later altera-
tions. Timber-frame with brick infill. Brick gable wall. Thatched roof
and brick end stacks and rear side stack. Rectangular plan of four or five
structural bays aligned north/south. One storey and attic. East elevation
has five windows, gabled dormers under eyebrows. with late C19 to early C20
casements, all of two lights except the second one from the right side which
has three lights. Ground floor has similar casements and two entries, under
gabled porches each with late C19 ledged door, to left and right of centre.
Frame is three square panels high from cill to wall-plate. South gable is in
late C19 to early C20 brick. North gable has parallel V-struts from tie to
principals. Interior not inspected.
