Cottage. Possibly C16 with later alterations. Probably timber-framed.
Roughcast finish. Sandstone slate roof. Extruded sandstone end stack
with detached brick shaft. Rectangular two- or three-bay plan aligned
roughly north/south. One storey and attic. West elevation has two ground
floor windows. The left one is probably mid-C19 and has nine panes; the
right is a 2-light mid-C20 casement. Roughly central ledged early C19 door.
South gable has attic light to left of end stack. East elevation has extension
with catslide corrugated iron roof. Interior inaccessible. (RCHM, Vol III,
p 136).
