Pair of gate piers. Late C12 and C13, re-assembled in C19. Finely carved
and moulded sandstone. Aligned roughly south-west/north-east. Both piers
are about 4' 6" high and have cluster of keel-moulded shafts. Other frag-
ments include interlaced chevrons and beak-heads. Right pier has C13 stiff-
leaf capital. Lower Letton Farmhouse is not included in this list. (RCHM,
Vol III, p 192).
