Stocken Farmhouse

Barn. Probably late C17 to early C18 with later alterations. Sandstone
rubble plinth and weatherboarded timber-frame with corrugated iron roof.
Rectangular four-bay plan aligned north-north-east/south-south-west. Two
levels. East elevation has two loft openings. Ground floor has double-
leaved ledged doors to left and one ledged door to right. Frame is three
square panels high from cill to wall-plate. Interior has trusses with
raking struts. Included for group value. Later extension to south is not
of special interest.
