Dovecote. Early C18. Handmade brick. Octagonal plan. Two levels with
dentilled eaves cornice. Openings all have cambered heads. There is a
window on the south side and a door and a loft door on the west side. The
pyramidal roof and timber lantern fell down in the late C20. The external
steps to the loft door have also gone. Interior: the timber nesting boxes
do not all survive but there are four tiers of brick nesting boxes with
ledges below eaves level. (RCHM, Herefs II, p 15, item14).
