House. C17 with mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations. Timber-framed with
rendered wattle-and-daub and painted brick infill on sandstone base,
brick replacement walling, part rendered with slate roof. Two framed bays
aligned east/west, external rubble chimney with detached brick stack at
east end. Single storey and attic. with dormer. Framing: three rows of
square panels from sill to wall-plate, collar and tie-beam truss with struts
visible at east end. South front elevation: there is a ground floor 2-light
C20 casement and a 3-light C19 casement. Central gabled dormer with 3-light
C20 casement. Main entrance to right of centre has a C20 flat-roofed glazed
timber porch and a partly-glazed C20 door. Attic lights. C20 lean-to addition
at rear.
