Cider mill, granary and hop kiln, now room, offices and wine store. C17
with mid-C19 alterations, restored late C20. Part timber-framed with brick
infill on tall sandstone rubble base, part sandstone rubble; plain tiled
roof. Four-bay range aligned east/west adjoining Broadfield Court (qv) at
west end. Two levels. Framing: two rows of square panels at upper level.
Main south elevation: ground floor level has one square window, upper floor
level has a large rectangular window and a loft door. There are two entrances
with ledged and battened doors. External sandstone steps adjoin north elevation
C19 addition to north-east. Interior: a complete cider mill and cider press
survive in full working order. Hop kiln:(now wine store) adjoins to south-
east. Sandstone rubble with pyramidal slate roof. Square plan. Two levels.
There is a rectangular light on the ground floor of the south elevation and
also in the upper level of the side elevations (blocked on west side).
