5/93 Hollywall Farmhouse
Farmhouse. C17. Timber-framed on rubble base. No infill or roof covering
survive. Two framed bays aligned roughly north/south; external rubble
chimney at south end with offsets (recorded to have had two diagonal stone
shafts which are now missing). Single storey and attic. Framing: three
panels from sill to wall-plate, short straight braces in lower outer corners
of upper panels, collar and tie-beam trusses with struts. The north gable
has original moulded bargeboards. No windows or doors survive. There is
a lean-to outshut at the north end. (RCHM, Herefs III, p 189, item 23).
