House. C17, with late C20 alterations. Timber-framed with painted brick
infill on tall rubble base and slate roof. Two framed bays aligned north-
west/south-east; large external rubble chimney with stone-tiled offsets and
brick stack adjoins rear north-east elevation. Two storeys. Framing: three
rows of rectangular panels from sill to wall-plate; tie-beam trusses with
decorative lattice struts at gable ends. Windows are C20 casements. South-
west front elevation: there are two 3-light windows on the ground floor.
Main entrance at north-west gable end has a partly-glazed C20 door. (RCHM,
Herefs III, p 188, item 9).
