CANON PYON CP WESTHOPE

2/33 The Rafters

GV II
House. Probably late C17, or early C18 with later alterations. Sandstone
rubble and timber-frame with tile roof. Brick and sandstone stack. T-plan
with main range aligned east/west and mid-C19 extension to north. One storey
and attic. South elevation has three windows, early C20 gabled dormers with
2-light casements. Ground floor has a 2-light casement to left. Two 3-light
casements, one to centre and one to right. Ledged mid-C20 door and left-hand
window are covered by tiled canopy. Ground floor is sandstone rubble. One
row of square panels between eaves and upper floor level. Included for group
value.
