Farmhouse. Probably late C17 with late C18 extension and later alterations.
Timber-frame with plaster infill and large sandstone side stack. Brick part
has sandstone or limestone quoins and dressings and Welsh slate roof. T-plan
with brick cross-wing facing north-east. Two storeys. North-east elevation
has three windows, 3-light casements, probably mid-C19. Gauged brick heads.
Brick plat band. Stone quoins to each corner. Six-panelled central door
with transom light. North-west elevation has exposed framing and sandstone
side stack. South-west elevation is partly covered by mid-C20 sun-lounge.
Interior inaccessible at time of re-survey (January 1987). RCHM notes
staircase, in timber-framed part, with splat balusters. (RCHM, Vol III, p 8).
