Cottage. Probably late C17 or C18, with late C18 or early C19 re-fronting
and later alterations. Timber-frame with brick and plaster infill on sand-
stone rubble plinth. Refronted in brick to one side. Sandstone rubble
and brick external end stacks, one with detached brick shaft. Welsh slate
roof. Rectangular plan aligned east-north-east/west-south-west with two
or three structural bays. Two storeys. North elevation has one window,
a minute casement, possibly late C19, of two lights set in raised wall-framing
which overall is four panels high from cill to wall-plate. Weatherboarded lean-
to attached to right-hand gable. South elevation has three windows, glazing
bar sashes with cambered heads. Central ledged door under bracketed canopy.
Interior not inspected. (RCHM, Vol III, p 88).
