Gatehouse. Probably c1870. Brick and timber-frame with plaster infill.
Pyramidal tiled roof. Square plan with north-west/south-east access.
Two storeys. South-east elevation has ground floor with brick piers
enriched by moulded brick cornice. First floor has 3-light mullioned and
transomed window flanked by lozenge shaped framing. Eaves brackets and
weathervane. Attached to right is staircase rising to entry on north-east
side of first floor. Beams supporting first floor are pine with deeply cut
chamfer stops. Included for group value. Court Farmhouse is not included
in this list.
