east-south-east of
Upper House

Barn. Probably C18 with later alterations. Deep sandstone rubble plinth
and weatherboarded timber-frame with corrugated asbestos roof. Five bays
aligned west-north-west/east-south-east. North elevation has weatherboarded
upper area, central wagon entry with three vent loops in plinth to either
side. Frame is one rectangular panel high from plinth to wall-plate.
Interior has triple angle strut trusses flanking threshing floor. The
outer trusses have king-posts with two pairs of struts.
