3/12 Baytree Farmhouse


Farmhouse. C17, with some early C19 and mid-C20 alterations. Timber-frame
with painted brick and rendered infill under a slate roof. Two framed bays
aligned north-east/south-west with gable-end stack of rubble with brick
shaft to the southern end. South-east front of two storeys with two 2-light
casements on each floor. Entrance to left of centre has a gabled canopy
supported on turned posts. Framing: three square panels high raised by one
rectangular panel. Simple collar truss to-gable end.
