GV II

House. Rebuilt early C19, incorporating C18, and possibly C17, fragments,
extended mid-C19 and restored late C20. Probably brick, stuccoed, with a
graduated stone tile roof. West front of two storeys with gable-lit attic.
Gable-end stack to left. Three windows, all boxed glazing bar sashes.
Ground floor has verandah with swept glass roof supported on wrought iron
pilasters, with pendant anthemions at the eaves of cast iron. The central
entrance has a plaster doorcase with fluted pilasters, moulded wooden archi-
trave and half-glazed door. Right-hand gable end has mid-C19 cusped barge-
boards over a canted bay window. The sashes have wooden blind boxes.
