SO 4054 - 4154 DILWYN CP KAREN COURT, Dilwyn

GV II

Granary, now three houses. C17 with some mid-C19 and late C20 alterations.
Timber-frame with painted brick and rendered infill on a painted rubble plinth
under a tile roof. Probably four framed bays aligned north-east/south-west.
Street (south-east) front is of one storey with attic lit by seven C20 gabled
dormers. Ground floor fenestration irregular with seven windows, mostly 2-light
casements. A C20 oriel to left of centre has a-lean-to tiled roof. The left-
hand gable has been refaced in painted brick. Entrances to rear. Framing: four
square panels high. A worn inscription on rail at left-hand end reads:
"GENTLEMEN AND GENTLEWOMEN ... ... OF ENVY HATRED AND MALICE FOR ... ...".
