SO 4058 - 4158 EARDISLAND CP A 44, Eardisland

11/47 Arrow Bridge (No 181)


Bridge. 1800, widened 1945. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. West front
has two wide segmental arches with keystones joined to band above. Triangular
cutwater kith a pilaster rising from it. The stone coped parapet splays out
in plan at each end. Set in east wall facing the roadway is a tablet with the
inscription, "HCC/ 181/ Erected 1800/ Widened 1945".
