11/48 Arrow Bridge (No 478)


Bridge. c1800, with some mid-C20 alterations. Coursed rubble with ashlar
dressings. West front has two segmental arches with keystones joined to
a band. Between the arches a triangular plan cutwater stepped back to the
top. The plain parapet walls splay outwards in plan. Plaque in east wall
facing road inscribed "HCC/ 478". Included for group value.
