11/55 Arrow Cottage

GV II

House. C17, raised and extended late C18 with some mid-C20 repairs. Timber-
frame with rendered infill on a rendered plinth, extended in painted brick under
a slate roof to front and a corrugated iron roof to the rear. T-plan, front
range aligned north/south, other range extending to east. Gable-end stack to
north of rubble, also another stack at junction. West front of two storeys,
with three windows, all 2-light casements. Ground floor has four windows,
casements of 3-, 2-, 3- and 2-lights. Entrance to right of centre has a plank
weathering and a C20 ledged and boarded door with strap hinges. Framing: three
square panels high raised by a further panel in C18.
