11/64 The Cross Inn

GV II

House, now public house. Early C18 with some early C19 and mid-C20 alterations.
Timber-frame with rendered infill on a coursed rubble plinth extended in painted
brick with a hipped slate roof. L-plan, limbs extending to east and south. Main
stack laterally placed on south side of east range. North front of two storeys
with two windows, a 2-light casement to the left, a 3-light casement to the
right. Ground floor has two square bay windows with flat roofs. Central
entrance has a panelled door. Framing: three square panels high.
