SO 4051 - 4151 WEOBLEY CP MARKET PITCH (south side)

14/151 Corner House



House. C16, with some mid-C18 alterations, restored late C20. Timber-frame
with rendered infill on a coursed rubble plinth under a machine-tile roof.
Two framed bays aligned east/west, with a gable-end stack to the west.
North front is jettied, of two storeys with two windows, a 4-light and a
3-light C20 casement. Ground floor has a single-light casement to the left
and two 2-light casements. Entrance in left-hand (east) gable has a C20 gabled
canopy over a C20 ledged and boarded door. Framing: two square panels high to
each floor, the jetty supported by curved brackets rising from pilasters. The
gable-end truss has four struts to the collar and V-struts in the apex.
