House. Early C18, altered early C19, with some mid-C20 repairs. Brick
with ashlar dressings, tile roof and external gable-end stacks. Two storeys
with brick coped verges. Three bays, the central one slightly advanced with
stone quoins as on corners of building, the open pediment above having a dog-
tooth brick cornice and a radially glazed lunette window lighting the attic.
Three windows, all glazing bar sashes under rubbed brick heads with painted
stone sills. The central entrance has a painted stone doorcase with pediment,
pulvinated frieze, and moulded architrave. The keystone is carved with a
grotesque mask. 6-panel door, the upper two of which are glazed. (RCHM, 3,
