SO 4461 KINGSLAND CP LONGFORD (north side)

13/45 The Garth

GV II

House. C17, extended early C19, with some mid-C20 repairs. Timber-frame
with painted brick infill on a rubble plinth with tile roof. Three framed
bays aligned east/west with C19 rear outshot. External chimney stack to
west gable of ashlar with brick shaft. Main stack axially placed between
two eastern bays with brick shaft, and lobby-entrance against it. South front
of two storeys with three windows, two 3-light casements, and a 2-light case-
ment to right, all with chamfered timber architraves. Ground floor has
similar fenestration, entrance to right of centre with moulded wooden archi-
trave, C20 boarded door, narrow overlight and lean-to tiled canopy on plain
wooden posts. Framing: four square panels high with straight angle braces.
East gable truss has three struts to collar and V-struts in the apex.
