House. Late C15, with some mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations. Timber-
frame with rendered infill on rubble plinth with corrugated iron roof.
Two framed bays aligned north-west/south-east with central stack. North-
west front is of two storeys, jettied first floor, with a 3-light casement
on each floor. Entrance to right-hand corner with ledged and boarded door.
Framing: jettied on north-west, south-east and south-west sides with
heavily moulded bressummer, dragon beams at corners, and curved supporting
brackets. A window on south-east side first floor retains a moulded sill,
and there is a blocked door with four-centred head in north-east wall. The
walls are close-studded with a mid-rail. Bressummer supported by inserted
C20 wooden posts. (RCHM, 3, p 85).
