House. C17, with early C19 and late C19 alterations. Timber-frame with
rendered infill most roughcast, with a slate roof. Two framed bays aligned
north-west/south-east with central stack. The stack is rendered with three
diamond-plan shafts. North-east front of two storeys with two windows, both
4-pane sashes. Ground floor has a pair of narrow plate glass sashes to left
and a 4-pane sash to right. Entrance to left has a flat canopy on metal
brackets with a C20 panelled door. Framing jettied to left (north) with
jettied north-west gable. The moulded bressummer is supported on scroll
brackets. The only visible framing is on the ground floor and is two square
panels high. (RCHM, 3, p 140, no 19).
