Farmhouse. Early C18, raised early C19 with some mid-C20 alterations.
Brick with slate roof. T-plan, cross-wing aligned north/south, with
rear wing to east. Gable-end stacks to cross-wing. West front of two
storeys, the front wall raised along with roof incorporating the brick
coped verges (still present on rear slope) with a band. Three windows,
two 16-pane sashes flank a glazing bar sash, all under segmental heads.
Entrance slightly to left of centre has a wooden doorcase with engaged
fluted columns, a 3-pane overlight and 6-panel door. Interior has some
exposed chamfered and stopped ceiling beams. Staircase C19 with stick
balusters. The fireplace in the south room is flanked by two cupboards
with fluted pilasters.
