Farmhouse. C17, with late C19 additions. Square panelled timber-framing
(revealed to interior), sandstone rubble plinth, brick refacing and later
additions, completely roughcast rendered, Welsh slate roof. L-plan with
wings aligned north-west/south-east and north-east/south-west, entrances to
south-west and to south-east, axial and lateral stacks. Two storeys.
North-west front: gable end of wing to left with upper jettied storey carried
on moulded bressummer with traces of curved brackets, one 2-light casement
window with part decorative lozenge glazing to ground floor, second wing to
right with one single light to left and one 2-light casement window to right
of projecting external stack, the ground floor has 2-light casements flank-
ing the stack. Four-panelled door to south-west in angle of L. Interior
reveals chamfered and moulded beams with interesting leaf pattern to stops
of beams in central room on ground floor.
