House (at some time sub-divided). C14 or C15 core extensively altered during
C17 and further during the C18 when roof was raised. Further C20 alterations.
Timber-framed with plastered infill on sandstone rubble plinth; Welsh slate
roof. Four framed bays with axial stack; entrance to south front. Two storeys.
Three leaded casement windows to left and three similarly leaded 2-light case-
ment windows to right. Ground floor with ledged door formerly with steps up
to left of 2-light casement window. Steps up to central ledged door with 2-
light window to right and single-light to left of third ledged door with steps
up and 2-light window to right. Interior retains cruck truss. (RCHM, Vol III,
p 165, item 14).
