GV II

House. C17, extensively altered during late C19 and C20. Timber-framed
with sandstone rubble plinth, plastered infill, weatherboard cladding to
east end bay, Welsh slate roof. Four framed bays aligned east/west with
raised roof-line to two western bays. Late C19 cross-wing to west end and
rear lateral stack. Single storey and two storeys; north front with two 2-
light casement windows to right of weatherboarded bay in single-storey section;
two-storey section to right with three 2-light casement windows on first
floor; ground floor with one light to left of door and canted bay to right,
all under penticed roof. Blank gable end of C19 cross-wing to right. Interior
retains some chamfered ceiling beams. Included for group value. (RCHM, Vol III,
p 165, item 18).
