GV II

House. C14 or C15 core, extensively altered during C17, further C20
alterations. Square panelled timber-framing on sandstone rubble plinth,
painted brick and wattle-and-daub infill; Welsh slate roof. Two framed
bays aligned east/west with gable-end and rear lateral stacks; entrance
to south front. Two storeys; two 2-light casement windows, 3-light windows
flank entrance with gabled porch and ledged door to ground floor. Interior
is said to retain central cruck truss of earlier hall. (RCHM, Vol III, p
166, item 29).
