Barn. Probably C17 to C18. Sandstone rubble plinth, timber-frame with
woven oak infill and weatherboarding, corrugated iron roofs. Rectangular
plan of five plus three plus one structural bays aligned roughly east/west.
South elevation has five-bay left part, with central opposed wagon entry,
masked by early C20 corrugated buildings. Central part of three bays has
higher rubble plinth and two ledged doors with strap hinges. Right part
is lower and has one ledged door. Frames are three panels high from cills
to wall-plates. Interior of five-bay part has wind-braces, triple angle
struts and pegged king-posts. The other parts have raking struts. Hopley's
Green Farmhouse is not included in this list.
