ALMELEY CP THE STOCKS

1/35 Barn about 40 yards
west of Lower Stocks
GV II
Barn. Probably C17 or C18. Sandstone rubble plinth with weatherboarded
timber-frame and corrugated iron roof. Rectangular plan of probably seven
or eight structural bays aligned north/south. East elevation has raking top
dormer to centre, wagon entry to right and small ledged door to left. Breeze
block infill to left two bays. Interior has some trusses with raking struts
and others with queen struts to collars. Included for group value.
