Cottage. Probably late C17 or early C18 with mid-C20 extension and alterations.
Sandstone rubble plinth and timber-frame. Welsh slate roof and extruded sandstone
rubble end stack with detached brick shaft. Rendered extension. Rectangular plan
of two timber-framed bays aligned north west/south east with full height extension
at north west end. One storey and attic. North East elevation has two windows,
mid-C20 gabled dormers, with contemporary 2-light glazing bar sashes. Ground floor
has a pair of similar windows and early C20 porch to left of centre. Interior not
inspected. (RCHM, Vol III, p 187).
