Farmhouse. C17, altered during C18, further late C19 and C20 alterations.
Timber-framed core almost completely refaced in sandstone rubble, brick
shafts to stacks, slate roof. Irregular plan with former L-plan house now
encased in later additions to north and east, axial and lateral stacks,
entrance to east front. Two storeys. East front: two gables to left and
one to right of doorway with 3-light casement windows and 2-light window
above doorway; ground floor: canted bay window and 3-light casement window
to left and canted bay to right of doorway with 6-panelled door flanked by
triangular headed side lights. Interior not inspected.
