Barn. Late C17. Timber-framed with lath infill, weatherboarded on rubble
base with corrugated asbestos roof. Seven framed bays aligned north-west/
south-east; wagon bays with opposed cart entries and double doors in third
and sixth bays from north-west end. North-west elevation has a stable door
and two ledged and battened doors. Interior: wall-framing of four panels
from sill to wall-plate. Collar and tie-beam trusses with two collars,
struts and V-struts above collar at ends; intermediate collar and tie-beam
trusses, mainly with raking struts across lower corners. (RCHM, III, p 56,
item 59).
