Barn. Probably early C18. Timber-framed and weatherboarded on rubble base
with corrugated asbestos roof. Nine framed bays aligned east/west with
wagon bays and opposed cart entries in third and seventh bays from west end.
Interior: framing has four rows of suqare panels form sill to wall-plate.
Roof has collar and tie-beam trusses at gable end with two collars, struts
and a V-strut in the apex. The intermediate trusses are predominantly of
tie-beam type with two pairs of raking struts and there are two tiers of
trenched purlins. (RCHM,III, p 54, item 21).
