Barn, converted to four houses. Probably early C18, converted late C20.
Timber-framed with rendered infill on rubble base; stone-tiled roof laid in
diminishing courses to south, machine-tiled roof to north. Seven framed
bays aligned east/west with single-bay wing adjoining north side of west
bays. Two storeys. Framing: four rows of square panels from sill to wall-
plate, solid braces in upper corners, collar and tie-beam trusses with
struts and V-struts above collar at gable. end of main range, similar truss
with raking struts to north wing. South front elevation: windows are all
C20 casements. There are three 3-light windows and nine single-light windows
on the ground floor and seven single-light windows and one single-light
window on the first floor. Four C20 doors. The building faces the Church
of St Mary Magdalene (qv) in a prominent part of the village. Included for
