GV II

House. Probably early C18, altered mid- to late C19 and late C20. Faced
in roughcast with machine-tile roof and having rubble end chimneys with
brick stacks (north stack rebuilt C20). Two storeys. Three bays. There
are two ground floor cross-casements and three first floor 2-light casements.
Central entrance has a C19 gabled timber porch on a tall painted brick base,
a moulded architrave and a 6-panelled door (two glazed panels, four raised
and fielded). Lean-to outshut with catslide roof at rear. Also there is a
C19 timber-framed, weatherboarded outbuilding at the north end. (RCHM, III,
p 54, item 18).
