Granary, now store. Probably C17, altered late C18 and late C20. Timber-
framed with brick and rendered infill and some weatherboarding on rubble base,
handmade brick addition and stone-tiled roof laid in diminishing courses.
T-plan; main range of three and a half framed bays and one additional brick
bay aligned east/west with cross-wing of two framed bays at east end. Mainly
two levels. Framing: three and four panels from sill to wall-plate. Collar
and tie-beam trusses with struts and V-struts above collar. Cross-wing end
trusses have two collars. Main north elevation: main range has a square ground
floor window, two square loft windows and a loft door and two large doorways
in the original part. The brick addition has external steps leading to the
granary door. There is a weatherboarded lean-to addition at the eastern end.
The cross-wing is open at the north end. Interior: roof has mainly intermediate
tie-beam trusses with raking struts and two tiers of trenched purlins. (RCHM,
