House. C17, altered and extended mid-C20. Timber-framed with painted
brick infill on rubble base, some rubble walling and slate roof (renewed
on east side) with central brick ridge stack. Two framed bays aligned
north/south with central chimney forming baffle-entry. Two storeys.
Framing: three panels from sill to wall-plate, collar and tie-beam trusses
with struts. East front elevation: there is a 2-light and a 3-light ground
floor casement and a 2-light first floor casement. Central C20 gabled timber
porch with C20 door and transom light and glazed C20 door within. Rubble
lean-to outshut at north end has an entrance with a lean-to canopy on
straight brackets and a C20 door at its east end. C20 single-storey additions
at rear. Interior: stop-chamfered main ceiling beams in north bay.
