Barn. C17. Timber-framed and weatherboarded on rubble base with stone-
tiled roof laid in diminishing courses. Four framed bays aligned north-west/south-east; wagon bay with opposed cart entries and double doors situated in
third bay from north-west end. Partly two levels. North-east elevation has
four loft openings, a loft door with a raking-top roof and a ledged and
battened door. There is a C20 lean-to breeze block outshut at the left end
with two stabledoors. Interior: wall-framing has two rows of panels from
sill to wall-plate and long straight lower corner braces. Collar and tie-
beam trusses with struts throughout. End trusses have V-struts above the
collar and intermediate trusses have raking-struts across the lower corners.
There are two tiers of trenched purlins.
