House. C17, with mid-C19 and late C20 alterations and additions. Timber-
framed with brick infill and replacement walling on tall brick plinth with
sandstone blocks at base of posts; plain tiled roofs. Two framed bays aligned
roughly north/south; external rubble chimney with detached brick stack and
lean-to bread oven situated at south end, also external brick stack at north
end. Two storeys and cellar. Framing: five rows-of panels from sill to wall-
plate. Tie-beam trusses with lattice struts at gable ends. West front elevation
there is a 2-light cellar casement with a cambered head situated to the left of
the plinth. Two 3-light casements on both main storeys; one is C19, the other
C20 on both storeys and the ground floor windows have plank weatherings. Main
entrance in east elevation and has a C20 door. C20 wing to north-east.
Interior: framing mainly intact apart from north end wall.
