House and shop. Circa 1800, altered mid-C19 and mid-C20. Stuccoed brick
with partly hipped slate roof and brick stacks to rear of ridge. Two storeys
with moulded eaves cornice. Two bays. Two first floor 12-pane sashes. Ground
floor has C19 shop front with flanking pilasters and entablature and two canted
bay windows with slender cast iron columns set each side of a glazed C20 door.
West side elevation facing the Tavern Inn (qv) of two bays. One ground floor
window is fitted with plate glass, the other is blind. Two first floor 12-pane
sashes. Central entrance has a shallow flat canopy on shaped brackets, a
moulded architrave and a half-glazed C20 door.
