GV II

Row of two shops. Early C19, altered late C19. Painted brick with slate
roof and painted brick ridge stacks. Two storeys with dentilled eaves
cornice. Four bays. Four first floor 12-pane sashes. There is a late C19
shop front with C20 glazing and a glazed C20 door to No 18. No 19 retains
its original shop front which has an 8-pane and a 14-pane window flanked by
fluted pilasters with entablatures and set either side of a doorway which
has an entablature with a dentilled cornice, flanking panelled pilasters and
a half-glazed C20 door. Between the two shop fronts is an inserted double
doorway.
