Late C16. 2 storeys with attic. Timber framed gabled front, partly in
large squares partly herring bone pattern. The gabled storey projects
on a moulded bressummer. Carved barge board with enriched brackets at
end. lst floor formerly projected but has been under-built in brick.
Small splayed bay window on ground floor. Rear of house is of brick with
some heavy timber framing and old windows. RCHM Volume II, 34.
Nos 24 and 26 and adjoining barn form a group.
