Church of St Mary
SO 65 NE 9/405 9.6.67.
Ruins of former church to the east of C19 church. From Cll. Only the
walls in a ruinous state remain, these are Cll with interesting herringbone
masonry to east of early Norman south doorway in blocks of tufa with flat
lintel and round relieving arch. West tower with upper Darts fallen is
probably C16. RCHM volume II, page 75, plates 13 and 111.
