Ruins of former church to the east of C19 church. From C11. Only the
walls in a ruinous state remain, these are C11 with interesting herringbone
masonry to east of early Norman south doorway in blocks of tufa with flat
lintel and round relieving arch. West tower with upper parts fallen is
probably C16. RCHM volume II, page 75, plates 13 and 111.
