Early C17 timber framed pair of cottages behind C19 red brick front of 2-storeys with
segment arched openings and slate roof. Exposed framing in central through passage
and rear gable. Later rear extension to No 12A. To rear of No 11 is late C18 painted
and rendered brick cottage range, formerly Lapstone Alley. Two-storey and attic.
Two windows to 1st floor in segment arched surrounds. One original leaded casement.
Rendered gable ends and above 1st floor windows. Chamfered beams to ground floor
rooms.
